The CDC’s “How Right Now” Campaign

Sometimes, the hardest part of being human is understanding our emotions and finding a path to a better frame of mind. Stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic, the good folks over at the CDC know exactly how hard it can be to answer the question “How are you?”. To help, they designed the How Right Now campaign to help us out when we need it!

At https://www.cdc.gov/howrightnow/index.html you can find resources that can help you cope and increase your resilience to the everyday stresses you may be facing. There are resources for overwhelming emotions such as fear, grief, sadness, worry, anger, loneliness, stress, and even when we really aren’t sure what we’re feeling other than ‘bad’. You can also find inspiration in what is helping others and how to start conversations that connect us to others on deeper levels.

If you’re struggling, there are people and resources willing to help. Talking to your doctor is a great place to start, too. But in the meantime, if you aren’t feeling well remember your local MEDcare is always happy to help! Our urgent care centers are open every day of the week 8:00 am to 8:00 pm- No appointment necessary! From 8am to 6pm we offer Rapid Antigen and send-out PCR COVID-19 testing, as well as COVID-19 antibody testing. To be seen by a provider, simply walk in, or save your spot online for visits between 8am and 6pm by clicking here!
